Christian Slater was born on August 18, 1969 in New York City, New York. His acting career began on television in 1981 while his first notable role was in the soap opera Ryan’s Hope. After making his cinematic debut in 1985, he found himself more prolific in the movies, soon experiencing success with roles in Heathers, Pump Up the Volume, Mobsters and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. In the 1990s, he continued his successful stint in Hollywood with True Romance, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, Broken Arrow, and Hard Rain.
In the 2000s, he starred in lesser known films and straight-to-DVDs. For this reason, he returned to the small screen, mostly playing recurring and guest roles, as well as doing voice work for some animated programs, like Robot Chicken. Starring roles on television shows include My Own Worst Enemy, The Forgotten, Breaking In, and Mind Games. He recently began playing the titular character in the acclaimed television series Mr. Robot and works as a voice actor for the show The Lion Guard. For his performance in Mr. Robot, Slater had been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.
Has Christian Slater had Plastic Surgery?
Undoubtedly, Slater was one of the heartthrobs in the 1990s. His several run-ins with the law, however, affected his movie career, which saw a decline in major offers. Still, he managed to stay on television and now even stars on a primetime and an award-winning series. As he returns to mainstream spotlight, people are once again curious as to what extent the actor has taken to look youthful. He’s turning 47 this year, only three years shy of 50, but it seems that Slater is looking good.
Despite his troubles in the past, which involved weapons and assaulting people, it looks like the actor is trying to start a clean slate, being more productive as a television actor right now. Could it also be possible that he also underwent plastic surgery to revive his good looks? Probably the answer lies on his face, filled with lines and wrinkles. This means that the actor managed to age gracefully and still looked okay without the intervention of a plastic surgeon. If ever he did have a cosmetic remedy, it was done beautifully as the result seems natural.
